Invitation to the EDA Congress 2010

It is with great pleasure that the European Dairy Association EDA, Assifonte and the Dutch Dairy Association NZO invite you to attend the EDA-Assifonte Annual Congress 2010 to be held in the Hague from 22 through 25 September.

Congress programme
As always the Congress will provide a high level programme tailored to current debates on such subjects as liberalisation of EU dairy markets, sustainability and nutrition.

Dutch dairy expertise
New in the programme is the possibility to meet Dutch dairy expertise. On Thursday 23 September we offer you a highly interesting choice of a workshop and special visits to get to know state-of-the-art expertise on such areas as finance, research and development or quality control.

The Hague
The Hague (Den Haag), seat of the government of the Netherlands, is truly an international city: the informal justice capital of the world with the Peace Palace, the International Court of Justice, the Yugoslav Tribunal.

Travel to The Hague
The Hague is within easy reach from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport and Rotterdam The Hague Airport. Train connections from Paris, Brussels and Cologne are excellent.

Accomodation
The Congress venue is the Bel Air Hotel, a comfortable hotel with international atmosphere, excellent meeting facilities, jazz bar for after dinner meetings and ample parking place.
 
Social programme
The social programme will make sure that you get a taste of the Scheveningen Beaches and the historical centre of the Hague. Furthermore, the excursion on Saturday will take you to the world famous Rotterdam harbour and the most recent Delta Works.
